The main objective of the workshop is to bring together experts from various areas that can contribute to our understanding of the state-of-the-art research in dynamics and control of micro and nanosystems. We expect this to lead to new ideas and to expose fruitful research directions. To accomplish this goal the two day program will be organized around four themes with keynote addresses setting the stage for brainstorming discussions. Invited sessions will be devoted to emerging research in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), high-speed probe-based systems and devices, dynmics and control at nanometer-scale and ultra high-density data storage systems.
The speakers listed on the right have accepted and confirmed their intention to attend the workshop. Names of the reminder of the invited speakers will be posted here upon their confirmation.
